Gary Lee Krajca, 69, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1956, in Ennis, Texas, to Joe J. and Mildred Krajca, and was raised in Bardwell, Texas, where he lived for many years before later retiring in Blooming Grove, TX. Gary held many jobs throughout his life, but the one that defined him most was being a cowboy day in and day out. He enjoyed all things cowboy-training horses, working cattle, and training dogs. There wasn't a horse he couldn't ride or a cow he couldn't catch. Gary loved working alongside his fellow cowboys, and one of his greatest joys was teaching others how to ride. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time with his grandsons, whom he loved dearly. Known for his grit, work ethic, and cowboy spirit, Gary was also remembered for his humor, storytelling, and the many lessons he passed down. His laughter, his stories, and his love for his family will be deeply missed. Gary is survived by his daughter, Ashley Krajca; grandsons, Mason Krajca and Pake Davis; his son and daughter, Clayton and Joanna; sisters, Dorothy Robinson and husband Dale, and Judy Spaniel and husband Johnny; brothers, David Krajca and wife Sherry, and Donnie Krajca; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geri Cella Krajca, and his parents, Joe J. and Mildred Krajca. Relatives and friends are invited to Gary's Life Celebration at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6th, at his homeplace roping pen in Bardwell, past 4433 FM 984, Ennis, TX 75119 In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations to help with final expenses or asks that you honor Gary's memory by sharing a story or memory of him.
