Raymond John Krajca

Raymond John Krajca, age 89, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away February 14, 2025, in Plano. He was the son of the late Joseph F. Krajca and Mary (Pavlaka) Krajca, born to them on March 4, 1935, in Kemp, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley June (Tucker) Krajca (November 12, 2010); sisters Beatrice Krajca, Mary Dlabaj, Geraldine Laza, Olga Janicek, and Emilie Elbert; brothers, Joe Z. Krajca and Norbert Krajca.
On October 6, 1956, Raymond and Shirley were united in marriage and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by his children, Sherry Krajca, Ronald Krajca and wife Kristi, Roland Krajca and wife Tammy; two sisters, Jeanette Ozymy, Joann Mounts; one brother, Alphonse Krajca; grandchildren, Zach Krajca and wife Stephanie, Micah Krajca and partner Matthew, Garrett Buckley; great-grandchildren, Noah Krajca and Cooper Krajca.
Raymond was self-employed as Ray's Plumbing Company later Speakes Plumbing from where he retired. He was a member of St. Philips Catholic Church (Dallas) and proudly served in the United States Air Force.
He was a hard worker and took pride in a "job well done". He loved his family above all and will be remembered for his calm, caring nature. Poppa, as he was called by his grands and great -grands, will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
