Gary R. Lloyd, age 84, of Hannibal, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, West Virginia. He was born October 5, 1940, in Hannibal, OH, a son of the late Dean and Mary Howell Lloyd. Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired industrial repairman with Conalco, a Methodist by faith, a member of the American Legion of Hannibal Post 760, the New Martinsville Moose Lodge, the Cruiser Unlimited Car Club, and a proud alumnus of River High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Bobby Lloyd; son-in-law, James McDougal; and grandson, Keegan McDougal. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years Imalee Lloyd; one son, Steven (Rhonda) Lloyd of Proctor, WV; two daughters, Deanna McDougal of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Pam (Scott) Bowers of Hannibal; two brothers, Donald Lloyd of Sardis, OH, and Mike (Kitty) Lloyd of Hannibal; one sister, Iva Lou Lloyd of Sardis; five grandchildren, Steven (Gretchen) Lloyd, Katie Lloyd, Tia McDougal, Haylee (Chase) Carothers, and Levi Bowers; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday August 15, 2025 from 11a.m. until time of service at 1p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 37234 Mound Street, Sardis, Ohio. Interment will follow at Emma Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
