He was preceded in death by his father.
Gary is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ann Funk Lopp; cherished children, Garrett Lopp (Tiffany), Larrah Smith, and Danielle Ferrentino (Joseph); his supportive brother, Lynn Lopp (Ruth); caring sister, Terri Adams (David); and his adored grandchildren, Breanna, Blake, Justin, Paisley, Lukas, Landon, Lailah, Colton, Madison, and Barrett. And his loving dog, Bo, as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (318 East Chestnut Street, Corydon, Indiana 47112).
Memorial visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service time of 2:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday.
We invite you to share your favorite memories and photos of Gary on his memorial page. Let's together remember the laughter, the love, and the beautiful legacy that Gary left us. Because even in farewell, we know Gary would love for us to keep building connections and constructing memories.

Sorry to hear about Gary's passing. Gary was a good guy. I knew him when I was younger. Gary was the "cool" guy you wanted to be around.
A good guy gone way too soon. RIP Gary.
