Gary McComb Jr.

Gary "Buddy" DeWayne McComb, Jr. 73-year-old White Oak resident, passed away early Saturday, morning, February 1, 2025, at his home. He was born in Vinita on October 21, 1951, to Rowena (Smith) and Gary McComb. Buddy was a graduate of White Oak and spent most of his adult life in the Pryor area. He was a retired metal worker from the Pryor Foundry. He was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church. Buddy enjoyed the outdoors, arrowhead hunting, treasure hunting, deer watching, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two children, Patrick McComb, and Meagan Bartley.
He is survived by his children, Brandy McComb, Tim McComb, and Sarah McComb, siblings, Shawn McComb, Sherry Green, and Jeannie Glaze, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
The graveside service for Buddy McComb will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the White Oak Cemetery, Pastor Leland Bartlett will officiate.
