Gary remains one of the best men I have ever known. Always a kind word and an encourager on the tennis court. We played very few doubles matches together, but he was a marathon player for our singles matches. 2-4 hour matches for Gary were the norm. I know he has left a void in his family, but may your precious memories of this good man sustain you and remain with you.

My heart is deeply saddened with the loss of Gary. He was such as genuine soul. We will truly miss him here at TD Bank. Rest on Gary. Your work on earth is complete. Praying for you Jan and family. He loved his family and would always talk about you guys. Praying that God grants you all peace and strength to walk this journey.

Gary was one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure of calling friend. Peggy and I were talking about what a good all around man he was. In the old Quail Valley days we were raising our families and the Club was the center of social activities. Gary was always counted on for a singles victory as he could play all day and hardly break a sweat. There was no wasted motion and the team looked at him as our Iron Man. Never heard a discouraging word issue from his lips. He would speak of his Family as a proud Husband and Father. Always positive and smiling. It has been many years since I saw Gary, but he is a man that is not forgotten. There will be many good stories told of our tennis days and he will be the source of many smiles, laughter, and great memories for years to come. He was the best.

Gary, was a wonderful person, a stellar athlete and true Clemson, Fan. I played some basketball with Gary, years ago during our high school days. Gary was outstanding in basketball, as well as swimming. A truly wonderful nice guy. My heartfelt condolences to Jan, and the entire family.

Ms Jan,
This message is from JW Monts and his chauffeur Steve Wilson. Although we only knew Gary for a short time from our oncology center waiting room group discussions, it was obvious that he was a good man and that he had a good wife who cared for him. We miss both of you and are so sorry for your loss. We will be praying for God to give you strength during this very sad time.
