Gary and I were pretty much joined at the hip the our first 13 years in this life. We did everything that two country boys could do together. We roamed the hills and woods wherever we were. We learned to swim in a cow pond that was not too sanitary. The only thing that interested us was cooling off and having fun. Somehow we learned to stun bullfrogs with dirt clods, skin them and get my sister Lola, Garys mother to fry them for us. They were delicious. Distance and life circumstances separated us except for brief visits usually family reunions. I regret those lost years. I am grateful for our recent visits and phone calls. I am grateful Gary found Karen and was loved and accepted by them. I know Gary loved them too you could tell by the way he spoke of them. His eyes got bigger and brighter and he would smile.

So grateful to have had "Grandpa Gary" in our family's life. We loved every minute we got to spend with him especially trips to Cozumel or just hanging out by the pool in Todd and Debbie's back yard. Gary was interesting, funny, handsome, sweet and ONRY. My family adored him.

Rest in peace my brother. I am grateful to the loved ones that helped you on your journey. You lived and died fearlessly. You are gone from here but not forgotten.
