Gary passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 6th, 2023, and is finally at rest after a seven year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his two children, Kim (Tim) Lytle and Dalton Oikarinen; Brother, Dennis
(Tammy) Oikarinen; Sister Michele (Jon) Houston; Father, Dennis Oikarinen; along with many
other family members.
Preceding Gary in death was his mother, Pamela (Jewell) Huddleston.
Gary loved the outdoors, tinkering on things and spoiling his dog, Mary. He was a loyal
employee for over 30 years at Tube Fab in Afton where he enjoyed his work and was an avid
Detroit Lions fan.
A celebration of life will take place in the spring following an interment ceremony at Oak Hill
Cemetery in Cheboygan.
