Gary L. Osborne, 81, passed away Wednesday morning, June 25, 2025 at The Grove in Greenville.
Gary was born in Greenville, Pa on June 29, 1943, the son of late Alpha and Eleanor Osborne of the Village of Osborne. He attended Commodore Perry High School, graduating class of 1961. After high school, Gary enlisted in the Air Force where he was a mechanic and flight engineer working on airplanes. In 1965, after 4 years in the Air Force, he came home to help on the family farm after his father became ill. In 2004, he retired from CCX Trucking after years of truck driving.
In 1971, he married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Cullen). They celebrated over 50 years of marriage together. Gary loved hunting and fishing at the family hunting camp. Loved planting and working in his garden and spending time camping at area campgrounds with his family. His most precious time was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Ann, their son Bryan (Staci) Osborne, Greenville, grandchildren Bradi (Dominik) Pruskowski, Greenville and Colton Osborne, Greenville; two great-grandchildren (Santino and Alivia Pruskowski); one brother Richard (Sheri) Osborne, Mechanicsburg, PA, two sisters, Barb (Dave) Corey, Mooresville, NC, Bonnie (Fred) Homner, Village of Osborne; brother in laws Bill Cullen, Hermitage, Mike (Cindy) Cullen, Greenville, along with several nieces and nephews that adored him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alpha and Eleanor Osborne, his in-laws Edward and Annabelle Cullen, his son Kurt Osborne, sister-in laws, Sandy Lorti and Therese Cullen.
