Gary W. Patten Jr., 61 of Attleboro, MA., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was the former husband of Renee (Moore) Patten.
Born on August 3, 1964, in he was the beloved son of FrancesJean (Collazo) Bates and the late Gary W. Patten Sr. He was the stepson of the late James Bates.
Gary worked as an HVAC installer for Larkin Hathaway Inc., in Brockton, MA.
Gary had a profound appreciation for music and frequently attended concerts. He valued family gatherings and time spent on sunny beaches, and he enjoyed action films and sharing taco Tuesdays with his children. In his younger years, he participated in camping, kayaking, and various water sports, and he also took great pleasure in snowmobiling and skiing. Among his many interests, one of his greatest enjoyments was spending time on the dance floor.
He is survived by his loving children, Nicholas "Jude" Patten and Jaden Patten both of Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by his siblings: Robert Patten from Halifax, MA., Pamela Hale of Nashua, NH and Dawn Burns of Louisville, Kentucky, Jimmy Patten and Johnny Patten both of Norton, MA., and many nieces and nephews.
