Mr. Gary Wayne Peak, Sr., 75, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkinville after a courageous 16 year battle with cancer. He was born on August 13,1949, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Roscoe Lester Peak and Hazel Irene Spach Pruitt. Gary was the owner of Winston Heating and Air LLC. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandkids. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed riding horses, his dogs, and going fishing at Davis Island. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Dunnagan Peak; five children, Gary Peak, Jr., Christian Peak, Tracy Brown (Scott), Kayla Peak, and Darren Crews; two stepchildren, Adam Kiger (Maris) and Matt Kiger (Jessica); ten grandchildren, Amanda, Landon, Greyson, Emerson, Summer, Cameron, Ethan, Hunter, Siara, and Mickey; five siblings, Vickie Fritts (Larry), Carol Wilder, Craig Peak (Debbie), Kathy Peak, and Dana Gayle (Waldo). A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm Tuesday April 29, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
