Gary Bernard Petroni, 75, of Columbus, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at home.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Gary resided in Columbus for the last 63 years. He was a diesel mechanic for Ryder Truck Rental and Mt. Laurel Public Works. He loved horses, demolition derby, racing, coaching his children in sports, and attending his grandchildren's special events. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Gary was always a phone call away and willing to help anyone. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Danny Petroni (Stacy), Jaimie Minch (Timothy), and Christine Kahn (Jake); his siblings, Albert Petroni (Jackie)and Terry Petroni (Diane); and five grandchildren, Olive, Lucy, Reese, Marlowe and Elliot.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 10AM to11AM, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in Columbus Cemetery, Columbus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made via check in Gary's memory to Red Sky Ranch, 83 Mill Lane, Columbus, NJ 08022.
