GARY A. SENN
January 4, 1941 ˜ April 27, 2023
It is with broken hearts that we announce that Gary A. Senn has passed away at the age of 82. Born to Ethan and Wilberta Senn, Gary was the eldest of four siblings. After spending his early years in South Carolina, the family moved back to Vancouver when he was 12.
At the young age of 14, Gary was determined to work and lied about his age to secure a job at the Del Monte cannery. He later went on to work for Fred Meyer for 35 years.
Gary was a fighter and beat cancer twice, a testament to his strength and resilience. He had a great sense of humor and loved joking around especially with his sons and brothers. People sought out his advice on many things. If someone needed help, Gary would drop what he was doing to help them day or night. Spending time with family was always a priority for him, and he cherished every moment with his loved ones.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie; his son, Troy; his brother, Tomy; and his parents. He is survived by his brother, Leo (Vickie); and sister, Debbie. As well as his children, Dameita (Dan), Greg (Nancy), Jackkee, Curtis (Lori); and daughter-in-law Julie. He was also a proud grandfather to Kristen, Keith, Trent, Emma, Amanda, Emily and Anna; and a great-grandfather and uncle to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Uncle Gary...I'm sure going to miss calling you on the phone and asking you if you would like me to bring you dinner. You were always so thankful and happy when I would make dinner and bring it to you. You never complained and always said you liked everything I made. You made it so enjoyable sharing meals I made with you.
Your great sense of humor and graceful nature will always be remembered. I am thankful for the time we shared and the meals we shared together.
You will never be forgotten and deeply missed . <3 your niece, Vicki

To the entire Senn family I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Gary! I´ve known Gary for about 25 years, sold a couple homes for him as well as sold Troy & Julie a home near Gary. I haven´t seen Gary in a few years but I used to run into them at Winco now and then. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers in this time of loss.
