Gary Smith Obituary

Gary Smith was born December 24, 1957 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Clarence "C.E." Smith and Eva (Cornell) Smith. He passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
Gary was a lifelong resident of the Okemah area. He enjoyed taking care of his rabbits, doing yardwork, baking and spending time with his grandson, Bryan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Caleb Smith; one sister, Shirley Fairres and three brothers, Clarence "Buzz" Smith, Robert Smith and Larry "Flash" Smith.
Survivors include his son, Zach "Boone" Smith and wife Britni of Okemah; three brothers, Dewayne Smith, Jerry Don Smith and wife Linda and Leon Smith; four sisters, Edna "Wee" Carmen, Sue Johnson, Beverly Sands and husband Terry and Saundra Underwood and husband Frank and one grandson, Bryan Coley.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
