Gary Don Staggs

Gary Don Staggs, 38, of Broadway, NC, passed away October 7, 2022. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday (10/13/22) at Community Baptist Church, in Siler City. The family will greet friends at the Church from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Thursday before the service.

 

Gary was born on February 25, 1984, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Lisa Staggs and the late Gary Staggs. Gary Don attended Riverside High School in Lake City, Arkansas where he met his future bride, Brandy Wilbanks. They were married on August 17, 2004, and welcomed son Jacob, born into their family the following year and son Adam in 2021. Gary Don loved his family and worked hard for them. He was a gifted salesman. He held various positions in sales and transportation.

 

Gary Don was fun-loving, loved to laugh and had an infectious smile. He loved playing pranks on those he loved. He was a good friend and had the heart of a true giver. Gary Don was generous to so many people. He readily volunteered his time to drive a truck loaded with relief supplies from North Carolina to Florida after a major hurricane struck many Florida communities.

 

Gary Don is survived by his wife Brandy Staggs and sons Jacob and Adam of the home; mother Lisa Staggs Hinkle and her husband Bradford Hinkle; sister Sarah Payne and her husband Seth; sister Mary Brown; and a blessed host of nieces and nephews that he doted on.
