Gary M. Stec, Sr., 70, husband of Sharon M. (Wood) Stec of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in Lankenau Hospital surrounded by family.
Born on January 29, 1955 he was the son of the late Frank Stec and Verna (Zsenyuch) Stec.
He graduated from Northern Chester County Technical School in 1972 and dedicated 50 years to AC Miller in Spring City.
Longtime/active member of Polish Club where he was a Bartender and Bar Manager for over 20 years and a proud member of American Dream Corvette Club.
Gary was a die hard Eagles fan, he bled green inside and out. Gary enjoyed being a season ticket holder for many years. He could also be found enjoying a shot of Crown Royal.
In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by three children: Gary Stec, Jr., Brigitte (wife of Michael Young), and Travis Smallwood. He was a devoted G-Pop to Annelise Geiss, Finnegan Geiss, and Addisynn Geiss. Gary is also survived by his brother, Richard (husband of Eileen Stec), his sister, Mary Weiss, and many nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved dog, Nikko.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Stec and sister, Elaine Brenner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 865 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 am.
A visitation will be held in Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church from 9:30 to 11:00 am.
To honor Gary's memory, you are encouraged to wear Eagles green or Crown Royal purple.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Polish Club, 328 High Street, Phoenixville, PA or Phoenix Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 272, Uwchland, PA 19480.
