Joseph M. Bilash, 81, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Born on April 20, 1944 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Michael J. and Julia (Winnick) Bilash.
A proud graduate of Phoenixville High School in 1963, Joseph remained an active member of his community. He showed his commitment to youth athletics as a referee for both PMYC and YMCA, influencing the lives of many young athletes.
He served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his nephews:
James Bilash, Jr. husband of Laura;
Kevin Bilash husband of Melissa;
Jason Bilash husband of Shannon;
Aaron Bilash.
Sister-in-law, Stephanie Bilash.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, James A. Bilash, Sr., Walter John Bilash, and Stephen Bilash.
A Graveside Service will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:00 am.
