Gary was a very positive male role model in our lives. So many Hunting and fishing adventures. He was a strong influence on my love of the woods. I loved he was one of the best firemen I knew. He took it so seriously. I loved getting to go on tow truck rides with him. One of my favorites was a crazy man running around after stealing and wrecking a car at Three-steps Troy. Of Course, he did not know it was a dangerous situation when we left Libby. I think it was me, Dick Dutton, and Gary. I just had to keep down and stay in the Tow Truck:) I honestly have no bad memories with Gary. We sure were lucky to have him in our lives. We all thought we were the "Gambler" by Kenny Rogers and Card Sharks. Games, good Music, and lots of Laughs.
