George Joe Hutton, age 71, passed away on August 9, 2025, at his home in Libby, MT. He was born on February 22, 1954, in Harlem, MT, to George and Eleanor (Lindsay) Allery.
George was raised in Libby, MT, where he attended school, and worked various jobs prior to going into the US Navy on August 14, 1975. Upon completion of Basic Training and Operations Specialist A School he was assigned to USS Richard S Edwards (DD-950), he was also assigned to the USS Coral C (CV-43). He was honorably discharged on August 13,1979 at the rank of Operations Specialist Second Class.
George was preceded in death by his father Donald Hutton, sister Bette (Allery) Hill, and mother Eleanor (Lindsay) Hutton.
Survivors include his son Christopher Hutton, Libby MT; siblings Donna (Dave) Parrish, Libby, MT; Raymond (Lolita) Hutton, Libby, MT; Cindy AuClaire, Sioux Falls, SD; Bruce (Catherine) Hutton, Harrah, WA; and Grace (Tracy) Rogers. Libby, MT.
Services will be at 1:00 pm at the Libby Cemetery on Friday, September 19, 2025. Friends and Family are invited to attend the celebration of life located at 6396 Pipe Creek Road, Libby, MT. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, MT. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
