Alexander "ALex" Hutton

Alexander "Alex" Hutton, age 40, of Peoria, IL formerly of Atlanta, GA, passed away Tuesday August 26, 2025. He was born on July 14, 1985.

Yutaka Katayama once said to "Love cars, Love people, Love life," and that is just what Alex did. Alexander enjoyed classic cars and car shows and was a part of the car community in Atlanta, GA. He loved his family, friends and most of all his four children. His children held a special place in his heart; when he talked about them his face lit up the room and he was so honored to be their father. Alex loved life by traveling the world; trying to grasp as many cultural experiences as possible; and always being there for others. Alex would use his gentle heart to constantly support friends and family. Alexander received his bachelor's from Emory University and his master's from Georgia State. He was enormously proud of his educational accomplishments. Alexander's interests included going for long walks anywhere and everywhere, spending time with his kids, consuming any kind of sweet treat, watching cooking shows and making the best steaks. His palate was very sophisticated as he enjoyed cooking and trying all different types of food. Alexander brought a calm presence into everyone's lives; he was kind and had the most caring soul.

Alexander was preceded in death by his father William Hutton and grandparents Albert Alfred and Barbara Elizabeth Fitch and Willie and Morag Hutton.

He is survived by his mother Annabella Fitch Hutton, his children; William Nathaniel, Wren Elizabeth, their mother Lindsey; Adelaide Joy and Rhodes Alexander, their mother Heather; aunts and uncles; cousins and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Alexander's life will be conducted at 2:00pm-4:00pm Saturday September 27, 2025 at Wright and Salmon Mortuary, 2416 N. North Street, Peoria IL 61604.
