Gary Tuttle, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in Ashville, North Carolina after a long illness. He was a native of Waterbury CT. He is survived by his parents Raymond and Yvonne Tuttle of Waterbury and his sisters and brothers-in-law; Loreen (Dan) Hayes Massaro of Wolcott CT, Denise (Bill) Beckett of Cheshire CT and Deena (Scott) Allard of Cheshire CT, as well as 6 nieces and nephews, Rachel Smart, Erin Beckett, Alex Kratzert, Dylan Salzillo, Thomas Allard and Caitlyn Allard.
Gary was a graduate of Crosby High School in 1988 and later attended Kaynor Technical School for Electrical Technician courses. Among his many interests were music, computer science, environmental protection, and naturopathic medicine. His love of dogs, especially his precious Sam and Zella is known by everyone. Gary was able to make many friends over his lifetime who, like his family, will miss his great sense of humor and his fascinating intellect.
Because of Gary’s love of nature, there will be a memorial picnic to be held and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial donation be made, to honor Gary’s love of animals, to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at ASPCA.org
The family is finding much comfort from the many condolence offerings made by Gary’s friends and acquaintances. For those who would like to post a special memory of Gary, there is an online memorial register available at “Obituaries” at https://www.asimplecremationwnc.com
