While Irene's early life was shared with her beloved siblings, she was preceded in death by her brothers Claude, James Ray "J.C.," Virgil, Randall, Biage, Olf, Junior Tuttle, and her sister Nora Carpenter.
Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her sisters: Betty Jo (Glendon) Carpenter from Berea, and Mary (Walter) Delany from Lancaster. A cherished aunt, Irene also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, each touched by her generosity and nurturing nature, as well as an extended family that felt the wide reach of her compassion and wisdom.
Graveside services will be 12 pm, Friday, August 29, 2025, at Hall Cemetery in Paint Lick, Kentucky.
