On November 6, 2025, Gary F Wallace lifelong Canton resident, passed away peacefully at Aultman Compassionate Care surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 19, 1940, to his late parents, Fred and Alice (Robertson) Wallace.
He was in the first class to graduate from Perry High School and served his county in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He worked as a machine operator for Teledyne Monarch and Rubber in Hartville and went on to retire from Summit Engineering Company after many years of excellence and integrity. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports, and spending as much time as possible with his son-in-law boating and fishing, making unforgettable memories.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 60 years, Brenda Wallace; daughter, Mary Beth (Chris) Wisniewski of Canton; sons, Jeff and Steven Wallace both of Canton; grandchildren, Christopher Logan and Amanda (Ryan) Labriola; great-grandchildren, Arabella, Madilyn, and Lincoln; sister, Sandra Wallace; and a host of church family and friends. Gary had a kindness that made everyone around him better.
Family and friends will be welcome for visitation on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Reedurban United Presbyterian Church, Canton, where the service will follow at 12:00 PM. Pastor Lynn Shetzer will officiate. Interment will take place at North Lawn Cemetery, Canton, with Military Honors being presented.
Gary’s legacy of loyalty, love and the joy in the simple things throughout his life will be carried on by those who knew and adored him and may be shared at www.lamiellfuneralhome.com.
