Publish in a newspaper

Donald William Klein, of Canton, Ohio, passed away October 12, 2025, at the age of 99. A life resident of Canton, he was born November 29, 1925, to parents, Emmet and Pearl (Loder) Klein. In addition to being reunited with his parents, he also joins his wife, Peggye, who precedes him in death; his sister, Dorothy Wolfe and brother, Robert Klein.
Donald, just a little more than a month away from reaching his centennial mark, lived through many historical events, sharing his life experiences, lessons learned, and the importance of God and family above all else.
A 1943 graduate of Lehman High School, Donald proudly served in the United States Army during World War II and was awarded The Purple Heart. He retired from the M. Conley Company in 1999 after 47 years of exceptional service, was a member of St. Joseph Church, Guardian Angels Parish, and Canton Council #341 Knights of Columbus.
With his steadfast faith, Donald joyfully provided for his family and was their guiding light, whose love showed the way. His legacy will continue to live on in those who survive; daughters, Mary Klein of Canton, Janice (Christopher) Utz of Michigan; sons, Thomas Klein, Kevin (Jennifer) Klein all of Canton; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton. Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, St. Joseph Church, Guardian Angels Parish, Canton. Reverend Father Bryan Tutas will serve as celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests Memorial Contributions to St. Joseph Church, Guardian Angels Parish.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated angels who provided unwavering support, compassion, and kindness during Donald's journey and for being a source of strength and love to the family.
