Gary Franklin Wheaton, 87, Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024. Gary was born May 29, 1936, in Marinette, WI to Viggo and Florence Wheaton both who preceded him in death. He was a former Electrical Engineer at Computer Storage Systems (formerly NCR). He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy, Peter H., Robert J. and Roger Wheaton. Survivors include his wife, Janet; son, David and wife Bobbie Wheaton; daughters, Carolyn and husband, Curtis Kuntz, Cheryl and husband, Dennis Brown, Cindy and husband, Gary Glasscock, Karen and husband Bob Van Horn and Jennifer Robinson; sister, Marlyn Entringer; grandchildren, Brooke, Sandra, Joseph, Melissa, Eric, Dylan, Jason, Shaun, Chris, Ryan, Ben, Jennifer, Lauren, Joel; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary loved the outdoors, sailing, golfing, flying his airplane and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
