Born on May 28, 1973, in Castries, Saint Lucia, Gasper's life was a testament to love, selflessness, and generosity, and he left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched.
Gasper's journey through life was one of unwavering dedication to his family and community. He began his career in public service by joining the police force in Saint Lucia in 1992, where he served his community with honor and distinction. His commitment to the safety and well-being of others continued when he later joined the Bermuda Police Force. In 2002, Gasper made the bold decision to migrate to the United.
Gasper made the bold decision to migrate to the United States, settling in New York City in pursuit of a better life for himself and his family. He worked tirelessly in various roles before joining the team at Trader Joe's in 2023, where his joyful nature made him a favorite among customers and coworkers alike.
Beyond his professional life, Gasper was a man of deep faith and served as an elder in the United Christian Fellowship Ministries church for several years. His wisdom and kindness were sources of guidance and comfort to his church community, and his contributions to the ministry were deeply valued.
Gasper's love for his family was boundless. He was the beloved husband of Janice Paul George, and a superhero dad to five remarkable children: Annique Montoute and Veron Emmanuel, who both reside in Saint Lucia, and Ryan Quinlan, Taliah Paul, and Sara Paul, all of whom live in Brooklyn. Gasper's legacy also lives on through his eight siblings in Saint Lucia: Isabel George Calixte, Andrew George, Bernard George, Joseph George, Noelita Calixte, Jeanette Alphonse, and Swithin Donnelly, who will forever cherish the memories of their beloved brother.
