Gavin Dauzart, a caring individual who always went out of his way to make others feel special and welcome, has passed away at the age of 18. He was born on October 22, 2005, in Franklin, TN and left this world on February 1, 2024, in Nashville, TN.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kristina Dodson and Quentin "Happy" Bell; father Michael Dauzart and stepfather Chad Harris.
He is survived by his mother Jenisté Bell; brother and best friend Landon Harris; half-brothers Gage Dauzart, Devin Dauzart; uncles Benjamin Dodson, Nickolas Bell; paternal grandmother Leska Ryland, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Gavin was full of life, always seeking adventure and excitement. He enjoyed being an avid reader and video gamer. He loved his dogs Toby Bear and Maybelleen, who were always there to keep him on his toes. He held a special place in his heart for his family, most importantly his brother Landon. Gavin enjoyed working on his new car and absolutely cherished creating beautiful memories with his beloved girlfriend Mia Aguayo.
To honor Gavin's memory, visitation services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024, 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday, February 9, 2024, from 9:00am ~ 11:00am with a Celebration of Life at 11:00am.
Gavin Dauzart may have left this world too soon, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his caring nature, generous spirit, and the love he shared with everyone he encountered.
Pall bearers include: Landon Harris, Blaise Cantú, Benjamin Dodson, Nickolas Bell, and Isaac Simpler.
