Geita (nee Waxman) age 84, passed away October 3, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Honorable Norman Ackerman. Loving mother of Amy Soobitsky (Jayson), and Audrey Weissberg (Norman). Adoring grandmother of Chelsea Salzberg (Zachary), Rachel Soobitsky (Benjamin Vershel), Brandon Soobitsky, Jordan Raker (Zachary), Samantha Weissberg, and great-grandmother of Eliana and Noah Salzberg. Dear sister of Betty Salkin. Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Friday, October 6, 2023, 12Noon precisely, GOLDSTEINS’ ROSENBERG’S RAPHAEL-SACKS 6410 N. Broad St. Phila PA 19126. Interment to follow Montefiore Cemetery (Jenkintown, PA 19046) Shiva to be observed at the Schwartz residence immediately following interment. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
