Gena "Jean" (Ciccotelli) Concorso died on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her home in Berkeley Heights, NJ. She was 94.

Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 23, 1931, a daughter to the late Maria (Cialone) and Antonio Ciccotelli. She was raised in Newark, NJ, subsequntly residing in Clark, NJ, Bridgewater, NJ, and Poughkeepsie, NY, before moving to Berkeley Heights in 2014.

She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ until her retirement in 1996. Jean enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, crafts, and sewing. She was an avid baker, a creative problem-solver, and could fix just about anything. She actively participated in the PTA at the Valley Road School in Clark, NJ, fabricating the curtains for the school cafeteria.

Jean was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony A. Concorso in 2016, her brother Bruno Ciccotelli, her sister Lydia Ciccotelli, and her sister-in-law Patricia Ciccotelli. She is survived by her brother, Anthony Ciccotelli, son James Concorso and his partner Lilian Pumpido, her two daughters, Carol A. Padron and her husband Luis Padron, and Mary J. Concorso and her husband Thomas Cipoletti, and a sister-in-law Josephine Balicki. Jean is also survived by two grandchildren, Julia Padron and Ryan Cipoletti.

Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home 1012 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ. A Service will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad, 378 Snyder Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922.
