Susan Chieffo

Susan M. Chieffo, born February 21, 1958, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Henry A. Chieffo and Cecilia (née Manning) Chieffo.
Susan dedicated many years of service as an Administrative Assistant at Runnells Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Berkeley Heights, where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her warmth and gentle nature touched the lives of colleagues, residents, and families alike.
She is survived by her beloved children: Christopher and his wife Elizabeth, Steven and his wife Kelly, Matthew, and her daughter Lindsey A. Thornton. She is also survived by her dear brothers Henry Chieffo and his wife Tammy, and Dennis Chieffo and his wife Patti; her loving sister, Mariellen Van Natten, and her spouse Larry. Susan leaves behind six treasured grandchildren, who brought immense joy into her life.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 PM at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd., Parsippany, where loved ones will gather to honor and remember Susan's life.
Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
