Gena Cain Shaul

Gena Cain Shaul, age 73, went home to be with her Lord on January 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Gena was born in Birmingham, Al October 23, 1951 to the late Alton and Martha Vincent Cain. she is also predeceased by her two brothers, William and Lamar Cain.
Left to cherish Gena's memory is her husband, Lawrence Shaul; daughter, Tena Shaul; sister, Donna Freeman (Bill); grandchildren, Sydney, Tyler and Austin.
Gena was very active in her church, Freedom Ministries, as Children's Leader and the all around "go to" person. Words cannot begin to describe how special Gena was to all her knew her. She had a deep love for her family and friends and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always inviting others to church so they could experience the love of God the way she had. She will certainly be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Freedom Ministries Church, 6425 Eastern Valley Road, McCalla, Al 35111 beginning at 11:00 AM.
