Gene Baumert Obituary
KEOTA-Gene Baumert, age 84, of Keota, died Friday, March 27, 2026, at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with Pastor Doug Tinnes officiating. The service will also be live streamed on the Powell Funeral Home facebook page. Burial will be at Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established for the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Gene and his family. Tributes may be made at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
