Joel Krause Obituary
RICHLAND-Joel Krause, age 70, of Richland, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his home.
Joel was born March 31, 1955, in Buena Park, California, the son of Robert and Joeleen (Paxson) Krause. He graduated from North High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. Joel lived in California and Arizona before moving to Keota in 1984. He then moved to Richland about 10 years ago. Joel worked on a pit crew for a racing team in Arizona, cut wood and worked for various farmers over the years, but his true passion was setting up and repairing computer systems. Always willing to help anyone, Joel enjoyed bartering and listening to all genres of music, especially the Bee Gees.
Survivors include his sister: Nancy Hemphill of Tucson, Arizona; nephew: Robert Cutchens of Urbandale; special friends and neighbors: Sheila and Ed Bower; special friend: Kaz Clubb and best friend: Kiara Bower. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Tamara McCormick.
Per Joel’s wishes his body will be cremated and burial will be at a later date at Keota Cemetery. There are no services planned at this time.
