Born on June 20, 1942, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and determination. Predeceased by his beloved son, Michael Dolnick, and his parents, Irving ang Sadie Dolnick, Gene faced life's challenges head-on from the very beginning, starting life as a preemie, blind in one eye and deaf in one ear.
A true hustler, Gene graduated from Northeast High School, earned a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University and a Master's Degree from Temple University. His career in education and helping people with special needs was commendable, but his true calling was as an investor and stock market guru. He served on the Pennsbury School Board for 20 years, making significant contributions to the community.
Gene had a large group of friends who cherished his company. He loved coupons and getting a deal, and was a foodie in his own unique way, enjoying bargains and being a picky eater who like his food hot and his drinks filled with ice. Above all, he lived for his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
Known for his great sense of humor and as a jokester, Gene could always bring a smile to anyone's face. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His spirit of generosity, love for his family and passion for life will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
An active member of the Odd Fellow Variety Lodge, Gene was known for his generosity, always willing to give you the shirt off his back. He was married to Ilene for 60 wonderful years, and together they raised four children: Jodi (Bruce) Finkel, Pam ( Dan) Golden, David (Veronica) and Michael. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Sam, Julia, Alex, Madison, Matthew and Kate. He also leaves behind his sister, Deborah Dolnick (Byron), niece and nephews.
