Gene E. Jeffers, born January 26, 1963 passed unexpectedly March 8, 2025. Originally from Huntington, West Virginia. He graduated from Marshall University and made his home in Columbus, Ohio. An avid Buckeye fan, Gene was known to be the loudest O-H leader everywhere he went. Preceded in death by his father, Oscar E. Jeffers; mother, Mary Ann Jeffers Webb; and brother, Steve Jeffers. Gene will be sadly missed by his sisters, Diann (Michael) Murphy, Tracy Cwikla and Christine Hill; daughters, Katilin (Bradley) Allmon, Courtney (Joey) Polen; step children, Shane and Jordan (Michael) Thompson; 13 adored grandchildren, and his very loved life partner, Wendy Thompson; as well as more family and friends than he could count.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 12:00pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to charities that were important to Gene: Autism Speaks, Franklin County Dog Shelter, or American Heart Association.
