Gene Terrell Obituary
Along with his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his son, Toby Terrell. Gene is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Bailey Terrell, of 74 years this July; son, Mike Terrell and daughter, Gayla Guest and her husband Frank. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michelle Chamblee, Michael Terrell (Ashley), Daniel Terrell (Julia), Amanda Guest McDaniel (Chris), April Fowler (Matthew), and 7 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service celebrating the life Gene lived is Friday, February 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the old sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Newnan, 15 W Washington Street. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Newnan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Gene's name to the Samaritans Purse online at www.samaritanspurse.org/donate.
