Kathryn Ferron Evans

Kathryn Ferron Evans, age 70, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born on May 1, 1955, to the late Evelyn and Leonard Ferron Sr., Kathryn spent her life nurturing the minds and hearts of the next generation.

Kathryn's world revolved around children. Whether she was leading a kindergarten classroom or providing dedicated care as a nanny, she possessed a rare gift for seeing the potential in every child. Her patience, kindness, and gentle guidance left an indelible mark on the many families she served throughout her lifetime.

Beyond her work, Kathryn's greatest pride was her own family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, David Evans, and a loving mother who took immense joy in her sons' lives.

She is survived by her husband, David; her son, Stephen, and his wife, Renee; her son, John; and her grandson, Asher. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Leonard Ferron Jr., Mark Ferron, Linda Long, and Marie Fenton.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM at Tri-County Baptist Church, 5445 Hwy 16 East, Senoia, GA. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the church with Pastor Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Rd., Newnan, GA.
