Geneva Buckmaster (88) went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 11, 2025 in St. Charles, Michigan. Geneva's life was marked by a faith that guided her every step. She loved her family which brought her joy. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was born on January 9, 1937, in Moltke Township to Alfonse and Ethel (Krueger) Schaedig. After graduating from Roger City High School Geneva attended Northeastern School of Commerce in Bay City, Michigan. She was an Avid Golfer and bowler which she enjoyed with her husband. She was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church. After retiring from Delphi, she volunteered at Bethesda for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry (Gregg) Perry and son, Michael (Martha) Buckmaster. Also survived by her sisters Ingrid Gerger, and Audrey (Ronald) Grulke, and several nieces and nephews and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband George of 45 years and her two brothers, Frederick Schaedig and Bernard Schaedig; her father and mother Alfonse and Ethel (Krueger) Schaedig.
Honoring Geneva's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be planned at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Union Court Memory Care 302 Fulton St., St. Charles MI 48655
