Geneva Goff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scott Funeral Home on Feb. 6, 2026.
With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we remember Geneva Goff, who was born on July 27, 1929, and passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026.

Geneva, loving known as "TT", was a woman whose heart belonged to her family above all else. Her love was steady, generous, and unwavering, and she found her greatest joy in simply being surrounded by those she loved. A hard worker by nature, Geneva took pride in every job she held and deeply missed working in her later years. Of all her roles, her favorite was her time as a cashier at Kohl's, where she cherished the routine, the purpose, and the daily connections with people.

Some of Geneva's most treasured memories were made bowling alongside her family-moments filled with laughter, friendly competition, and togetherness that she carried close to her heart. These simple joys reflected who she was: present, loving, and always happiest when sharing life with those she cared for.

She is survived by her devoted son, William Goff; her beloved grandchildren, Sue Edsell (Jimmy), Robin Allgeier (Chad), and Lori Rose; her cherished great-grandchildren, James (Kayla), Ashley, Joe Carrier (Kayla), Caitlyn Elder (Thomas), and Wintur Rose; and her precious great-great-grandchildren, Nicholas Hollis, Avery Carrier, and Cason Carrier. Each generation carries forward her strength, warmth, and enduring love.

Geneva was preceded in death by her loving husband, Aubrey Goff, her children, Aubrey Goff Jr. and Brenda Louis, and her daughter-in-law, Deborah Goff, whom she now joins in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Geneva Goff will be remembered for her tireless work ethic, her quiet strength, and the deep, abiding love she gave so freely to her family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the family she cherished so dearly.
