Robert G. Goff, 96, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 2, 1930 in Posey County, IN to the late Nora (Carr) and Nathan Goff.

Robert attended Smith High School in Posey County. Robert served in the Army National Guard. He retired from the Whirlpool Corporation after 38 years. Robert was a member of the Evansville Masonic Lodge No. 64 where he received his 3rd Degree and the Scottish Rite receiving his 32nd degree. He was an avid golfer achieving three holes in one with two in his seventies and one in his eighties. Robert was savvy on the computer and loved researching genealogy. He also enjoyed spending time reading. Robert remained active doing 100 push-ups every day into his early nineties. He was Protestant in faith.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Judy (Joe) Brown, Bobbie (Tim) Lambert and Dottie (Rick) Duvall; grandchildren, Chuck (Renee) Brown, Tim (Jerilyn) Lambert, Kyle (Alicia) Lambert, Chris (Cassi) Lambert, April (Josh) Diehl and Jessica Schneider; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Eugenia "Jean" (Key) Goff; daughter, Deborah Goff; sisters, Wilma Mercer, Virginia Schwindel and Mary Meadows; and brother, William Goff.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville where a Masonic service will be held at 10:45 a.m. A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dallas Robinson officiating.

Private entombment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
