Genia (Cranford) Chaffin, 82, of Stephens, AR passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 28, 1943, in Stamps, AR, she was a homemaker who devoted her time to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stephens. Her hobbies included fishing, reading, and her pets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Rudolph Cranford and Viola Inez (Hay) Cranford; sister, Ardi Lyn Griffis; brother, Lance "Rudy" Cranford; sister-in-law, Lynell Warren; son-in-law, Greg Key.
Genia is survived by her husband, Jimmy Chaffin of Stephens; children, Tina Dever (Ken) of Camden, Donna Key of Magnolia, Timothy Chaffin (Cindy) of Camden, and Angela Chaffin of Camden; brothers, Thomas Cranford (Barbara) of Stephens, Michael Cranford (Sue), and Rod Cranford (Gail) of Stephens; sisters, Carol Reaves and Ann Tankersley of Stephens; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Lyndell Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in the Christies Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Morgan, Hunter Rodriguez, Jathan Rodriguez, Cody Cranford, Joey Cranford, Mark Tankersley, and Chad Hodges.
Memorial donations may be made to Christies Chapel Cemetery, 760 Columbia Rd 83, Magnolia, AR 71753.
