Geoffrey Dean Craigie, 35, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2024. He was born on October 17, 1989, in Beaufort, South Carolina, to Kenneth and Jill (Katz) Craigie.
Geoffrey was a graduate of Reeth-Puffer High School in Muskegon. Following high school, he pursued a career as an engineer and worked at Grand Haven Powder Coat for four years. His career was tragically interrupted in 2017 after a life-changing accident.
Despite the immense challenges he faced after the accident, Geoffrey's resilience and positive spirit shone through. He cherished memories of working on cars, particularly restoring classic vehicles, as well as snowboarding and boating, which he enjoyed prior to 2017.He also found solace in gardening and nurturing a variety of indoor plants, which brought him peace and fulfillment.
Geoffrey is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth and Jill Craigie; his cherished dog, Mavrik; his sister, Heather (Matthew) Reynolds; and his beloved nieces, Stella and Zara Reynolds. He is also survived by his grandmother, Linda Katz; his aunts, Lenore Kuipers and Jennifer (Max) Gamble; and his cousins, Zane Gamble, Andrew Crosby, and Brandon Crosby. Geoff was proceeded in death by his grandfather Arthur Katz, with whom he shared a special bond and grandparents Ann and Bernard Craigie.
Geoffrey's passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his courage, determination, and the love he shared with those around him.
