George "Anna" Allgood, age 63, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Anna was born July 9, 1962, in Corpus Christi, TX to Elwyn John Barrow III and Betty Barrow. Anna was a homemaker and caregiver. Anna had a servant's heart and would help anyone who needed it. She loved her family and her church families. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and quiet moments with her husband.

Anna spent most of her life in Corpus Christi, TX but moved to Elgin to be with the kids and grandkids. Anna graduated from Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi. When she was in Corpus, she attended Yorktown Baptist Church and worked with the five-year-olds for over 20 years. She also took care of her mother, father, and brother, giving them loving care for over twenty-five years.

Anna married John Allgood in 1985. When she met John, he had a two-year-old daughter that Anna loved dearly. Anna also had two more children, John II and Elizabeth. John and Anna were married for over 40 years and had a wonderful life together. The last year was rough as she fought cancer, chemo reactions, MRSA and a broken hip and through it all she possessed her unshakeable faith and determination.

Anna was predeceased by her father Elwyn John Barrow, her mother Betty Barrow, and her brothers Elwyn John Barrow IV (Judge) and Bennett Barrow.

Anna is survived by her loving husband John Allgood. Her children Lisa Allgood-Hall, John Allgood II and Elizabeth Allgood. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews and her special grandkids who loved her so much.
