George Ashcraft Obituary

Born October 25, 1942 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late George Monroe Ashcraft and Rosie Bell Spakes Ashcraft. He grew up in the Woodlawn area and moved to White Hall when he was a teenager.
Mr. Ashcraft worked for over 30 years at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and he took his retirement very seriously.
He was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by ten brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Holt Ashcraft, whom he married on February 4, 1972; one son, Steve Ashcraft; one grandson; a sister, Charlene Moring; a number of nieces and nephews; and a bonus daughter, Celeste Scroggins.
There will be a memorial service Friday, November 28, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel with Brother Johnny Taylor officiating. Burial will be in White Hall Methodist Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hardin Baptist Church, 300 Todd Lynn Lane, White Hall, AR 71602.
