George Bland Obituary

George was born in Flint, Michigan on September 9, 1924. After a career in education working for the Flint Public School System and Mott Community College, he retired to Palm Harbor, FL with his lovely wife, Ginny who predeceased him on December 17, 2017. He is survived by his three daughters, Susan, Debra and Diane, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. George was a World War II veteran and a D-day survivor for the U.S. Navy. Cherished by his three daughters and their families, he will be greatly missed.
Please send any flowers to Curlew Hills Memory Gardens on 1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683 by Friday, January 13th.
Services will be held at Harborside Chapel on January 14, 2023. The gathering begins at 9:00 am with the service starting at 9:30 am.
