George "Bob" Robert Gotch
Born: February 10, 1940 in Streator, IL
Died: September 19, 2025 in Chicago, IL
George "Bob" Robert Gotch, 85 of Streator passed away Friday (September 19, 2025) at Winston Manor in Chicago.
Private family services will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with burial following in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Larry Booze officiating.
Bob was born on February 10, 1940, in Streator to George and Emma (Smith) Gotch.
Surviving is his sister Judith A. Soulsby of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Gotch, brother-in-law Thomas R. Soulsby and a nephew Brandon Gotch.
Bob always worked. He was last employed by the City of Streator. He started on the former city garbage route and retired from the Public Works Department.
Bob enjoyed the simple things, western movies, time at the river at the Red Bud Trail property, a burger at McDonald's, or a brew with the guys.
The last few years Bob resided at the Arc of Streator and most recently at the Winston Manor in Chicago.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
