George James Bobosky, 65, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on Wednesday July 3,2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. George was born on November 18, 1958 In Toledo Ohio.
He attended Waite High School. Growing up he loved riding motorcycles and building cars. He worked at Owens Community College as a Maintenance Supervisor/ Journeyman Painter for 30 years where he then retired in 2014. George was a hard worker who loved working with his hands. He could fix almost anything, even if it wasn't broken. He enjoyed playing his favorite game of solitaire and working on his puzzles all while listening to his favorite classic rock bands such as Boston, Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon just to name a few. And if he wasn't doing that he was outside doing yard work, working on cars or coming up with things he could build. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and sitting in his famous chair watching Sleeper Dude, Ancient Aliens, Lucy and James Bond. George will be remembered for his caring, do anything for anyone personality and his dry sense of humor.
George is survived by his children; Chriscinda (Mark), Melissa (John), Daniel and McKenna (Brandon); grandchildren, Juan, Trinetee, Trysten, Lelan, Kai, and also his grandpups Nico and Kobe; his parents Milt and Sue Gephart; mother of his children, Debbie Bobosky and Cindy Martin; siblings, Steve and Colena, Jeffrey and Debbie, Sharon and Martin, Julie and Larry, Jolynn and David and his brother-in-law Joe Boyd; godson Alex Powell, mother in-law Betty Hughes and many of nieces, nephews, colleagues, friends and family.
George was preceded in death by his father, George; his sister's Jenny Boyd and Stephanie Bobosky; father and mother in-law, Corky and Johnette Marshalko; father in-law Donald Hughes Sr.
All are welcome to visitation on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 10-1 p.m. at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd., Rossford, OH, followed by a funeral ceremony at 1 p.m.
We would like to give special thanks to the St. Charles ICU Department and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of the care and compassion that they gave our dad.
