George James Buckley

George James Edward Buckley, age 38, of Lucedale passed away Friday, May 2, 2025. Mr. Buckley was born June 29, 1986 in Laurel, MS. He is the son of the late Isaac L. and the late Joyce Mae Dixon Buckley Sr..
George was a loving father, brother, and son. He was a pipefitter; he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and coaching baseball in George County. He attended Temple of Praise. He was always the life of the party; he loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by sons, Bryston Buckley, Kayston Buckley and Easton Buckley; daughter, Hailee Buckley; sister, Tabitha (David Holifield) Buckley; sister, Matilda Phelps, brother, Isaac (Mary) Buckley Jr; sister, Shannon Parker; sister, Teresa (J.D. Kitchens) Parker.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Ben Buckley officiating. Burial will be in Buckley Cemetery, 123 Buckley Rd, Lucedale.
