George Chavez Sr. Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. and Placida Chavez also by his sister and brother in law, Marianne and Melvin Romero.
He leaves behind three children, George B, Chavez, Jr., LeeAnn Marie Garcia, and Christopher John Chavez. Also sister, Elizabeth Romero, and brother David Chavez, Jr.
Four grandchildren, Gabriel Zamora, Mathew Zamora, Daniel Garcia and Adrianna Maldonado along with 9 great grandchildren.
George Chavez Sr. retired from the carpenters union and will be truly missed! His bubbly, personality, and contagious laughter runs deep in the memories of all of us!
A viewing will be on Tuesday May 7th from 5-7 p.m. at Trujillo Family Funeral Home, 110 Alvarado Drive SE. Services, including rosary and mass will be Wednesday May 8th at Duranes Catholic Church, 2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW commencing at 10 a.m. Burial and interment will be at 12:00 noon at Mount Calvary Cemetery with reception to follow.
