Gilbert Patrick Perea Jr, age 55 born in Albuquerque, NM served in the US Navy during the Gulf War, Passed away August 10, 2025.
Gilbert is survived by his mama Lillian Perea, his loving sisters Nadine Perea, Margaret Chavez and Husband Anthony, his nieces and nephews Nathan Garcia, Anthony Chavez and wife Destiny, Francisco Chavez and wife Celeste, Michael Chavez and his only lovely niece Tiffany Chavez, his 7 great nieces and nephews, and many uncles and aunties and loving cousins.
he was preceded in death by his daddy Gilbert L. Perea, who also served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, grandparents Robert Gutierrez and Aurora Gutierrez, Raymond Perea and Mabel Perea, and uncle Fred Gutierrez.
We all will surely miss a loving bundle of sunshine and his hugs and kisses. A beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, nino and friend. Until we meet again.
Services will be on August 28, 2025 at Trujillo Family Funeral Home 110 Alvarado Dr SE 87108 from 10 am to 12 pm. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2 pm with honors. Pallbearers will be: AJ Chavez, Francisco Chavez, Michael Chavez, Nathan Garcia, Matthew Gutierrez, Geno Romo, Gabriel Romo, Gregory Anaya.
